10 Favorite Fellow Book worms

Happy Tuesday! If there’s one thing I never get tired of, it’s making lists, and reading books, and combining them. Today, I’m joining The Broke and the Bookish, in talking about our favorite fellow book worms. I actually just wrote a similar list over on BookBub’s Blog, but I wanted to do another one because, there are always more!

Hermione Granger from Harry PotterIf she’s not on every list around today, I’ll be very surprised. She is the ultimate bookworm, always.

Francie Nolan from A Tree Grows in Brooklyn: She is my favorite, forever, the end. The world was hers for the reading, after all.

Seriously everyone in The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie SocietyThis one takes the cake for making me want to join a book club so bad I wanted to climb into the pages. If you haven’t read this one, I definitely recommend it!

Matilda from Matilda: The wagon of books, you guys, okay.

AJ Fikry from The Storied Life of AJ FikryIf a man as persnickety as AJ Fikry can find happiness within a bookstore, who can’t, honestly?

Liesel Merminger from The Book ThiefBecause I will never grow out of these book, I will never love it any less than when I read it that very first time.

Ajax Penumbra from Mr. Penumbra’s 24-Hour BookstoreI want a bookstore that’s open for 24 hours. I’m not sure if I want to work there or shop there more, though, just to see who comes in!

Alaska Young from Looking For AlaskaAlaska had her entire room filed with books, and called it her Life’s Library.

Elizabeth Bennet from Pride & PrejudiceClassic.

Pete Saubers from Finders Keepers: A very recent one, but a book lover nonetheless! And one who faced a killer to save a book! That’s dedication.

I have to also add that this list wouldn’t be complete without a shout out to Rory Gilmore and Jess Mariano, the greatest fictional readers of our time.

There are tons of fictional characters who love books just as much as we do –  who are your favorites?

  1. Love the shoutout to Jess and Rory! We have a few titles in common, and I definitely considered including Guernsey. That’s a good one! And a 24-hour bookstore would be amazing 🙂
