Hitting the Halfway Mark: The 10 Best Books of the Year (So Far!)

PicMonkey Collage

Somewhere in between school ending and starting again, and missing all my monthly wrap ups, we ended up in June.

I’ve read 33 books so far this year, but since lately I’ve been on a roll with the Top Ten Tuesdays, I thought I would jump in today and talk about some of the best books I’ve read so far this year with The Broke and the Bookish!

Dare Me by Megan Abbott

The Fever by Megan Abbott

Our Endless Numbered Days by Claire Fuller

Hausfrau by Jill Alexander Essbaum

Nobody is Ever Missing by Catherine Lacey

Wild by Cheryl Strayed

The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins

What are your best books of the year so far?

  1. I loved The Fever…read it last summer and have Dare Me awaiting me on my Kindle thanks to your review! I’m on vacation right now, so will hopefully get to it before the week is out…I think it would be a perfect vacation read!
